Expressing support for the designation of 2019 as the "International Year of the Periodic Table of Chemical Elements".

This resolution recognizes and applauds the United Nations for proclaiming the International Year of the Periodic Table of Chemical Elements.

The resolution also commends the global community of chemists for their efforts to recognize the International Year of the Periodic Table and to participate in events marking such year as an important scientific milestone and global celebration.
