To amend titles XVIII and XIX of the Social Security Act to modernize Federal nursing home protections and to enhance care quality and transparency for nursing home residents and their families.
Nursing Home Reform Modernization Act of 2020
This bill requires the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services to establish a ranking system and related programs for Medicare skilled nursing facilities and Medicaid nursing facilities, taking into account the findings and recommendations of a specified advisory council established under the bill.
