This bill eliminates EB-5 visas and the EB-5 regional center pilot program.
The EB-5 visa provides lawful permanent residence to foreign nationals who invest (directly or through a regional center) a specified amount of capital in a new commercial enterprise in the United States and create at least 10 jobs.
Referred to the Committee on the Judiciary, and in addition to the Committees on Ways and Means, Foreign Affairs, and Education and Labor, for a period to be subsequently determined by the Speaker, in each case for consideration of such provisions as fall within the jurisdiction of the committee concerned.
