To amend section 1106 of title 31, United States Code, to require the President to submit to Congress additional updated economic projections before July 16 of each year.
Budget Transparency Act
This bill requires the President to submit to Congress certain updated economic projections before July 16 of each year. The submission must include updated projections regarding the federal budget deficit, the unemployment rate, the gross domestic product, the consumer price index, and interest rates.
