To amend title 5, United States Code, to provide unpaid leave for certain National Guard service by Federal employees and employees of the District of Columbia, and for other purposes.
Protecting Civil Employment for Our National Guard Act
This bill allows federal employees and employees of the District of Columbia who are ordered to National Guard service the option of taking leave without pay in lieu of utilizing accrued annual or sick leave.
