To amend title 5, United States Code, to provide that a Member of Congress convicted of certain offenses relating to campaign finance violations shall not be eligible for retirement benefits based on that individual's Member service, and for other purposes.
No Pensions for Corrupt Politicians Act of 2020
This bill excludes Members of Congress from receiving benefits under the Civil Service Retirement System or the Federal Employees Retirement System if the member is convicted of specified campaign finance violations relating to the use of campaign funds for personal use, including conspiracy to commit such an offense.
