To amend the Endangered Species Act to prevent a species that is not native to the United States from being listed as an endangered species or a threatened species, to prohibit certain types of financial assistance, and for other purposes.
American Sovereignty and Species Protection Act
This bill revises requirements governing the protection of endangered or threatened species.
Specifically, the bill limits such protection to native species.
In addition, the bill prohibits certain funding for endangered or threatened species from being used to purchase land in foreign countries.
