To amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to require that States give preference in allocating low-income housing credit dollar amounts to projects which are committed to providing non-smoking buildings.
Smoke Free Affordable Housing Act
This bill amends the Internal Revenue Code, with respect to the low-income housing tax credit, to require state allocation plans to include a preference for allocating dollar amounts of the credit to projects consisting only of buildings in which smoking is not permitted.
