To amend title XVIII of the Social Security Act to require the Secretary of Health and Human Services to disseminate to part D subsidy eligible individuals information comparing the premiums under LIS benchmark plans for such individuals.
Better Transparency in Information for Medicare Beneficiaries Act of 2019
This bill requires the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services to provide individuals who are eligible for low-income subsidies under the Medicare prescription drug benefit with a comparison of premiums under certain benchmark (i.e., low-premium) plans.
