To require the Secretary of Agriculture to reimburse sponsors for certain costs of emergency water protection measures, and for other purposes.
Funding Local Assistance and Recovery Efforts Act or the FLARE Act
This bill requires the Department of Agriculture to make retroactive payments to states and local governments under the emergency watershed protection program for work that is done after a project is approved, but before funds are dispersed.
