To direct the Comptroller General of the United States to submit to Congress annual reports on the budget for international and domestic nuclear security and nuclear nonproliferation programs of the United States.
Nuclear Security and Nonproliferation Accounting Act
This bill directs the Government Accountability Office to annually report to Congress an assessment of the budgets for nuclear-security and nuclear-nonproliferation programs in the President's budget for that fiscal year. The report shall include (1) assessments of any changes in budget estimates from the previous fiscal year; and (2) recommendations for developing new metrics for evaluating such programs, as appropriate.
