Smart Nutrition And Choices for Kids and Schools Act or the SNACKS Act
This bill ensures that the Department of Agriculture school nutrition standards allow any food that may be served as part of a reimbursable meal under the National School Lunch Program or the School Breakfast Program to be sold: (1) outside the school meal programs, (2) on the school campus, and (3) at any time during the school day.
