To direct the Secretary of Health and Human Services to carry out a program to address the health crisis of insufficient vaccinations, and for other purposes.
Vaccination Information and Promotion Act of 2019 or the VIP Act of 2019
This bill requires the Department of Health and Human Services to develop a program to improve the national rate of childhood vaccinations, including a public-awareness campaign and a grant program that supports vaccine education.
Additionally, the Government Accountability Office must study and report on changes in public attitudes toward childhood vaccinations.
