To amend title XIX of the Social Security Act to repeal the reductions in Medicaid DSH allotments, and for other purposes.
Patient Access Protection Act
This bill eliminates certain reductions to Medicaid disproportionate share hospital (DSH) allotments. (DSHs are hospitals that receive additional payment under Medicaid for treating a large share of low-income patients.)
