Summary

Calls upon the government of Kenya and President Kenyatta to: (1) ensure that extrajudicial killings and other violations are investigated and prosecuted by an independent judicial inquiry, and (2) safeguard human rights and civil and political freedoms.

Calls upon the President and other senior U.S. officials, as well as international partners, to support the development of democratic institutions in Kenya.
