A bill to require the Secretary of Commerce to undertake certain activities to support waterfront community revitalization and resiliency, and for other purposes.
Waterfront Community Revitalization and Resiliency Act of 2018
This bill directs the Department of Commerce to (1) designate certain communities with plans to develop their waterfronts as "resilient waterfront communities," and (2) create a network among such communities to facilitate the sharing of best practices. Commerce may also use existing authorities to assist communities in developing or implementing such waterfront plans.
