Protecting Moms and Infants Act
This bill reauthorizes through FY2023 the residential substance-use-treatment program for pregnant and postpartum women and requires the Department of Health and Human Services to make recommendations for addressing prenatal opioid use. Further, the Center for Substance Abuse Treatment must develop substance-use-disorder educational materials for treating pregnant women and babies.
