Recognizes the value of pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) as an effective prevention tool in combating HIV.

Expresses support for the research, education, and usage of PrEP.

Calls on Congress to increase funding to existing programs that work to educate the public and health care professionals about PrEP.

Calls on the Department of Health and Human Services to review outreach efforts of HIV prevention programs and to study solutions regarding barriers to PrEP access.
