To amend title 23, United States Code, to prohibit expenditure of certain transportation and infrastructure funds for a project located in a sanctuary jurisdiction, and for other purposes.
No Transportation Funds for Sanctuary Cities Act
This bill prohibits the obligation or expenditure of certain national infrastructure investment funds for discretionary grants (commonly known as Transportation Investment Generating Economic Recovery [TIGER] grants) for a surface transportation infrastructure investment project in a sanctuary jurisdiction.
A "sanctuary jurisdiction" means a state or political subdivision that prohibits or restricts a government entity or official from:
