To amend title XVIII of the Social Security Act to increase hospital competition, and for other purposes.
Hospital Competition Act of 2018
This bill establishes a series of programs and requirements relating to hospital costs, payments, and infrastructure, including a requirement for hospitals, as a condition of Medicare participation, to publish the prices charged for specified services that are highly utilized.
