To enable hospital-based nursing programs that are affiliated with a hospital to maintain payments under the Medicare program to hospitals for the costs of such programs.
Making the Education of Nurses Dependable for Schools Act or the MEND Act
This bill lessens the organizational requirements that hospital-based nursing and allied-health education programs must meet in order to be eligible to receive certain Medicare payments for program support.
