To provide for a comprehensive, multifaceted approach to preventing and treating opioid addiction.
Opioid Emergency Response Act
This bill establishes a series of programs and requirements relating to opioid use, including programs to incentivize the use of opioid alternatives; the bill also creates a new, sixth schedule of controlled substances that includes specified synthetic fentanyl-related substances.
