To provide for the adjustment of status of certain nationals of Liberia to that of lawful permanent residents and for other purposes.
Liberian Refugee Immigration Fairness Act of 2018
This bill directs the Department of Homeland Security to adjust to permanent resident status a qualifying Liberian national who: (1) has been continuously present in the United States between November 20, 2014, through the date of status adjustment application; or (2) is the spouse, child, or unmarried son or daughter of such an alien.
Adjustment applications must be filed not later than one year after the date of enactment of this bill.
