To amend title 38, United States Code, to clarify the treatment of certain surviving spouses under the contracting goals and preferences of the Department of Veterans Affairs.
Service-Disabled Veterans Small Business Continuation Act
(Sec. 2) This bill provides that the surviving spouse of a veteran who died with less than a 100% disability rating maintains the same Department of Veterans Affairs contracting preference for a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business as the spouse of a 100% disabled veteran until: (1) three years after the veteran's death, (2) the surviving spouse remarries, or (3) the surviving spouse relinquishes ownership of the business.
