To increase the number of aliens who may be issued visas or otherwise provided status as nonimmigrants under section 101(a)(15)(U) of the Immigration and Nationality Act for a fiscal year, and for other purposes.
Protect Victims of Crime Act
This bill amends the Immigration and Nationality Act to increase from 10,000 to 40,000 the number of U visas that may be issued in a fiscal year.
