To require the publication of the name of any person pardoned by the President, and for other purposes.
Presidential Pardon Transparency Act of 2017
This bill requires the Department of Justice, not later than three days after the President grants any reprieve or pardon for an offense against the United States, to publish in the Federal Register and on the President's official website the name of the person pardoned, the full text of the reprieve or pardon, and the date it was issued.
