To promote and expand the application of telehealth under Medicare and other Federal health care programs, and for other purposes.
Telehealth Enhancement Act of 2017
This bill (1) establishes Medicare payment incentives for hospitals that reduce readmissions; (2) provides for treatment, under Medicare, of individuals in health homes and medical homes; and (3) expands and otherwise revises coverage of telehealth services under the Medicare and Medicaid programs.
