To prohibit travel-related transactions to, from, and within North Korea by persons subject to the jurisdiction of the United States, and for other purposes.
North Korea Travel Control Act
This bill directs the Department of the Treasury to issue regulations prohibiting transactions related to travel to, from, or within North Korea by any person subject to U.S. jurisdiction unless authorized either by a general or specific license issued by Treasury.
Treasury may not not issue such a license for travel the primary purpose of which is tourist activities.
Penalties are provided for violations of this bill.
This bill shall cease to be effective five years after its enactment.
