To require the identification of certain persons who participated in a rule making in publications related to such rule making, and for other purposes.
Regulatory Fingerprints Act of 2017
This bill requires a federal agency to include in each publication in the Federal Register pertaining to a rule: (1) the specific legal authority for the rule, and (2) the name and title of each agency officer or employee who participated in the rulemaking and each person performing any work pertaining to the rule under an agency contract.
