State Retirement Savings Act of 2016
This bill amends the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (ERISA) to authorize and establish requirements for: (1) state-sponsored multiple employer retirement plans, and (2) state-managed payroll deduction savings programs that provide individual retirement plans.
