A bill to facilitate the import of marine mammal products into the United States by Alaska Natives.
Alaska Native Access Card Act
This bill amends the Marine Mammal Protection Act of 1972 to direct the National Marine Fisheries Service and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to develop and implement a process for issuing an Alaska Native Access Card.
The Alaska Native Access Card authorizes Alaska Natives to import marine mammal products into the United States for noncommercial purposes.
