To amend the Investment Company Act of 1940 to terminate the exemption of companies located in Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, and any other possession of the United States.
Puerto Rico Investor Protection Act of 2015
This bill amends the Investment Company Act of 1940 to repeal the exemption from coverage by the Act that is granted to investment companies created under the laws of a U.S. possession, including Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands.
