To authorize certain long-term contracts for Federal purchases of energy.
Renewable Energy Certainty Act
Amends the National Energy Conservation Policy Act to authorize federal agencies to enter into contracts for the acquisition of renewable energy or energy from cogeneration facilities for a period of up to 30 years.
Directs the Federal Energy Management Program to publish a standardized energy purchase agreement that federal agencies may use for such an acquisition.
