Insurance Rate Transparency Act
This bill amends the Public Health Service Act to require the Department of Health and Human Services to report to Congress within 30 days of receiving information on health insurance premium increases for the 2016 plan year on the increase with information presented according to specified categories of consumers (e.g., single, non-smoking male who is 30 years of age).
