To provide that the President shall submit to Congress a report detailing the priority of Federal spending if the statutory debt limit is reached, and for other purposes.
Transparency on Prioritizing Spending Act
This bill requires the President to submit a report to Congress detailing the priority of paying obligations of the federal government in the event that the statutory debt limit is reached. The report must be submitted no later than 30 days after enactment of this Act.
