Designates the week of May 12-May 18, 2013, as National Police Week.
Expresses support for law enforcement officers across the United States for their efforts to build safer and more secure communities, recognizes their selfless acts of bravery, and honors those who have made the ultimate sacrifice.
Recognizes the need to ensure that law enforcement officers have the equipment, training, and resources necessary to protect their health and safety while they are protecting the public.
Referred to the Subcommittee on Crime, Terrorism, Homeland Security, and Investigations.
