A bill to promote the use of clean cookstoves and fuels to save lives, improve livelihoods, empower women, and protect the environment by creating a thriving global market for clean and efficient household cooking solutions.
Clean Cookstoves and Fuels Support Act - Directs the Secretary of State to work to advance the goals of the Global Alliance for Clean Cookstoves.
Authorizes appropriations for the Department of State, the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), the Department of Energy (DOE), the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDCP), the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the National Science Foundation (NSF), the Department of Agriculture (USDA), the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), and the Peace Corps
Expresses the sense of Congress that such departments and agencies should be provided sufficient future funding to work with the Alliance.
