To direct the Secretary of Education to modify the FAFSA to include a space for the purpose of identifying whether a student is a foster youth, and for other purposes.

Amends title IV (Student Assistance) of the Higher Education Act of 1965 to direct the Secretary of Education to:

• include a space on the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form to identify students who are or were in the foster care system and are seeking assistance under title IV, and
• notify students who identify themselves as such of their potential eligibility for financial aid under title IV and other federal programs.
