Amends the Foreign Assistance Act of 1961 to treat each North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) member nation as a nation with which there is in effect a free trade agreement and thus eligible for expedited application and approval for the importation or exportation of natural gas.
Referred to the Committee on Energy and Commerce, and in addition to the Committee on Foreign Affairs, for a period to be subsequently determined by the Speaker, in each case for consideration of such provisions as fall within the jurisdiction of the committee concerned.
