To amend section 520 of the Housing Act of 1949 to revise the requirements for areas to be considered as rural areas for purposes of such Act.
Rural Housing Preservation Act of 2012 - Amends the Housing Act of 1949 to extend the requirements for consideration as rural areas with respect to assistance for farm housing.
Makes any area eligible for rural housing programs authorized under the Act on June 30, 2012, eligible for such programs through FY2013.
