To amend title 38, United States Code, to extend the period of time in which the Secretary of Veterans Affairs presumes the service-connection of certain disabilities of veterans who served in the Persian Gulf War, Operation Enduring Freedom, Operation Iraqi Freedom, or Operation New Dawn, and for other purposes.
Gulf War Syndrome "Presumptive Illness" Extension Act of 2011 - Extends to December 31, 2018, the period of time following service in the Persian Gulf War or in Operations Enduring Freedom, Iraqi Freedom, or New Dawn during which there is a presumption that certain chronic disabilities or illnesses that become manifest in former active-duty veterans are service-connected and therefore compensable through the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).
