To amend the War Powers Resolution to require the President to develop a post-deployment strategy when introducing the United States Armed Forces into hostilities, and for other purposes.
Post-deployment Strategy Act of 2011 - Amends the War Powers Resolution to direct the President to include a post-deployment strategy in the required report to Congress when introducing U.S. Armed Forces into hostilities and certain other situations without a declaration of war.
Defines "post-deployment strategy" as a clear action plan that: (1) articulates U.S. interests, (2) defines and lays out a strategy for achieving policy objectives, and (3) includes a withdrawal plan based on such objectives.
