Designates May 2010 as National Brain Tumor Awareness Month.
Expresses support for: (1) efforts to develop better treatments to improve the quality of life and the long-term prognosis of individuals diagnosed with a brain tumor; and (2) individuals who are battling brain tumors, as well as their families, friends, and caregivers.
Encourages increased awareness of brain tumors to honor individuals who are living with or who have lost their lives to brain tumors.
Urges a collaborative public-private approach to brain tumor research.
