A bill to prohibit the heads of executive agencies from entering into or renewing procurement contracts with persons that export certain computer or telecommunications technologies to Iran, and for other purposes.
Reduce Iranian Cyber-Suppression Act - Prohibits the heads of executive agencies from entering into or renewing contracts for the procurement of goods or services from a person that exports sensitive technology (technology that restricts the free flow of information) to Iran.
Authorizes the President to waive such requirement if: (1) it is in the national interest of the United States; and (2) the President reports to Congress the reasons for such determination.
