Requests the President to transmit to the House of Representatives documents and communications concerning specified aspects of the role of the Presidential Task Force on the Auto Industry (Task Force) in connection with the 2009 bankruptcy proceedings of General Motors Corporation and Chrysler LLC (GM and Chrysler), as well as: (1) Task Force interaction with any other entity regarding GM or Chrysler dealerships selected for closure; (2) the role of the Task Force concerning employee and retiree benefits of GM and the Delphi Corporation, including its role in establishing the Voluntary Employee Beneficiary Association; (3) the President's role in determining dealership closures and plant closings; (4) the role of the Task Force concerning part ownership of GM or Chrysler post-bankruptcy by bondholders and the United Auto Workers; (5) the decision to forgive federal loans made to GM or Chrysler under the Troubled Asset Relief Program (TARP) in title I of the Emergency Economic Stabilization Act of 2008 (EESA); (6) whether GM or Chrysler were lawfully eligible to receive TARP financial assistance; and (7) actual TARP payments to automobile manufacturers.
