Recognizes the 60th anniversary of the Berlin Airlift (humanitarian airlift operation) and commends all of the operation's U.S. veterans for their valor and determination.
Honors the veterans of the Airlift who lost their lives during the operation.
Commends the spirit of collaboration which characterized the operation, involving both military and civilian aircraft and crews.
Honors the men and women of the military whose dedication upholds the legacy of the U.S. Armed Forces.
