Calls on the Egyptian government to: (1) respect human rights, minority rights, and freedoms of religion and expression; and (2) release Abdel Karim Suleiman and all political activists.

Welcomes the government of Egypt's decision to pardon Ayman Nour for medical reasons.

Urges the President and the Secretary of State to put human rights and religious freedom developments in Egypt very high on the U.S. government's agenda during meetings with Egyptian officials.
