Recognizes and supports the efforts of Welcome Back Veterans to augment the services provided by the Departments of Defense (DOD) and Veterans Affairs (VA) in providing timely and world-class care for veterans and members of the Armed Forces suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and related psychiatric disorders.
Encourages the Secretary of Veterans Affairs to establish innovative public-private partnerships for the treatment and research of PTSD in teaching hospitals across the country.
