DEBATE - The House proceeded with one hour of debate on H. Res. 1500.
The resolution makes in order a motion to concur in the Senate amendments with amendments to H.R. 4899. The motion shall be debateable for 90 minutes. The previous question shall be considered as ordered on the motion to final adoption without intervening motion except that the question of adoption of the motion shall be divided among the five House amendments. The first portion of the divided question shall be considered adopted. House Resolution 1493 is hereby adopted.
POSTPONED PROCEEDINGS - At the conclusion of debate on H.Res. 1500, the Chair put the question on adoption of the resolution and by voice vote announced that the ayes had prevailed. Mr. Dreier demanded the yeas and nays and the Chair postponed further proceedings on adoption of the resolution until later in the legislative day.
