To amend the Federal securities laws to make technical corrections and to make conforming amendments related to the repeal of the Public Utility Holding Company Act of 1935.

Securities Law Technical Corrections Act of 2009 - Makes technical corrections to the following Acts: (1) the Securities Act of 1933; (2) the Securities Exchange Act of 1934; (3) the Trust Indenture Act of 1939; (4) the Investment Company Act of 1940; and (5) the Investment Advisers Act of 1940.
Amends the following statutes to make conforming amendments for the repeal of the Public Utility Holding Company Act of 1935 (PUHCA): (1) the Securities Exchange Act of 1934; (2) the Trust Indenture Act of 1939; (3) the Investment Company Act of 1940; and (4) the Investment Advisers Act of 1940.
